Look of the Day

Look of the Day comes from 21 year old Friederich.

I’m not usually a fan of anything that isn’t, y’know, BLACK, but I thought all the elements in this image just combined so well. I remember trying on a pair of Conference of Birds floral pleated ¾ length shorts earlier this year and, as much as I wished they suited me, alas they didn’t. Friederich to me actually pulls it off quite easily (maybe because he’s so damn petite!) and even though I’ve decided recently that I will stand against the half-geek, half-chic look that is back in (you know the one I’m talking about - suspenders at all costs, glasses with non-prescription lenses… pretty much a modern take on Steve Urkel), I don’t hate the ‘bifauxcals’ in this look because the remainder of the outfit is not at all faddish.
